Gender differences in the design and production process of pants
There is a significant difference in body shape between men and women, so there are different ways to cut pants. The waist joint of the male body is lower, while the waist joint of the female body is higher than that of the male body. This determines that the length and standing of women's pants are greater than those of men's pants at the same height.
The depression of the waist in women's pants is more significant than that of men, and the difference in hip waist circumference is also greater than that of men's bodies. Women's bodies have fuller buttocks at the back, more protruding side buttocks, and lower hip peaks than men's bodies. Therefore, women's pants have a larger and longer back, and a more sufficient side slope at the back. At the same time, the splitting force of the waist and hip outside of women's pants is greater than that of men's pants.
Due to physiological differences between men and women, the concave shape of the front panel of men's pants is greater than that of women's pants, and the front placket is always located in the front center position. Women's pants can be freely set in the front and back, which in turn determines that the front and back of women's pants can be designed with a placket, while men's pants cannot.
